Dell Award-winning author Marri Champié has ridden a horse into the heart of the world—The Sawtooth Wilderness—more than once. In her free time, she works as a wildfire support driver. She lives on a small ranch overlooking the Great Basin of Idaho with her horses and Jack Russell terriers, who help her with her writing.
