“Make its bowls, ladles, jars and pitchers with which to offer libations; make them of pure gold.”
Kasva means, “A vessel or jar”. The word appears in Torah exactly once, where it describes the solid gold wine and oil jars to hold sacrificial liquids in the Sanctuary. We feel that a book is a vessel for the fluid thoughts of the writer. And like the wine and oil in the Temple, the words represent the freely-given outpouring of the writer’s soul.
It is our aim to provide a worthy vessel for our author’s thoughts.
In addition to the books we publish yearly, we also provide services for indie authors who wish to self-publish, but want to produce a high-quality book that stands out above the rest.
Kasva Press services for indie authors.
More and more authors—aspiring authors and experienced ones—are turning to self-publishing. That need not mean a decline in quality, however. In addition to the books we publish under our own imprint, we provide indie authors the tools they need to put out polished, high-quality books in English, Hebrew, and Arabic.
Kasva Press provides expert book-design, layout, and illustrations. Our level of “fit and finish” equals or exceeds that of large conventional publishers.
Kasva Press designs and implements quality websites using Mura and WordPress content-management infrastructure. Our web-design philosophy is a simple one: we believe that while a website should be visually appealing, “bells and whistles” should never interfere with readability and ease of use.
